THE WORLD IS ON FIRE

THE WORLD IS ON FIRE

A rich part of the Earth is on fire and what the world chooses to do is to ignore it. The Indonesian rainforests are being destroyed and taken away from what is left of Earth’s green. This loss is not only Indonesian but it’s a global problem that we just look past.

While we continue to ignore, species are going up in smoke in an unbelievable rate, the visibility in some cities has been reduced to 30 metres, children are being prepared for evacuation in warships while already some have choked.

This can officially can be called biggest environmental disaster of the 21st century.

Meanwhile the media has shown no concern towards this issue, and is more involved with what the Kardashians did this week. It shouldn’t just be 1 person in a column writing about it so that everyone knows about it, this is a universal issue that concerns us all. The Earth is falling apart and we are going down with it.

The fire is currently producing more carbon dioxide than the US economy or the annual emissions of Germany. The problem doesn’t stop here, but more importantly treasures, what we call endangered species, are burning in flames, never returning back. We might have lost thousand of them.

Its not only the trees that are burning, but the land is also destroyed.
